Groundsperson - Operational Services

Role details: The Operational Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Groundsperson to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your opportunity: Ensure a clean, safe and pleasant grounds environment exists and is maintained, adhering to the principles of Workplace Health and Safety and Infection Control.
This position will also be required to work with and provide support and advice to Team Leader, Supervisors and/or Manager of Operational Services.
About the Team: Operational Services provides and co-ordinates a diverse range of services that support the clinical divisions in the delivery of patient centred health care at Mackay Base Hospital.

Cleaning ServicesPorterage ServicesWaste ManagementGrounds and GardensPatient Equipment Loan Store (PELS)About our Hospital and Health Service: Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
