We are seeking an individual with grounds maintenance experience to join our Illawarra Vocational Services team in Wollongong.
As the Groundsperson, you will provide exceptional outdoor maintenance services to residential clients, enhancing the appearance and functionality of their properties.
You will be proficient in using lawn care tools and machinery and have a strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
You will also pride yourself on providing exceptional service to clients.
Your key responsibilities will include : Providing lawn mowing and garden maintenance services at residential properties Ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of outdoor areas, including lawns, gardens, and hard surfaces Operating and maintaining landscaping tools and equipment Delivering high quality services to meet client expectations Working as a team to achieve daily service schedules efficiently and effectively Identifying and reporting any issues requiring additional attention Upholding safety standards and environmental compliance during all activities About You: As the successful candidate, you will have: Proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping services The physical ability to perform manual tasks outdoors in various weather conditions Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude Understanding and awareness of disability Commitment to workplace safety standards and practices A current Driver Licence An NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain) A NSW Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain) What We Will Offer: Hourly rate of $24.98 per hour 5 weeks of annual leave per annum Options for flexible public holiday leave for events of cultural or religious significance.
