About The Role Ventia have been engaged by the DJCS (Department of Justice and Community Safety) to provide integrated Facility Management services incorporating planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance services, ad hoc services, and soft services including cleaning, ground, pest, and waste streams.
Ventia are seeking Grounds Person to work on our Department of Justice & Community Safety contract located out of the Cherry Creek Facility (Little River).
This is a casual position with potential to go permanent in the near future.
The hours of work are Monday - Friday from 7:00am-3:00pm with an hourly rate of $41.11 per hour + Super. Key responsibilities: Deliver high quality gardening including weeding, pruning, spraying, planting, mulching and rubbish removalMowingApplying chemicals and spraysUse a range of horticulture equipmentSkills and Experience: Experience in gardening or other horticultural positionsDrivers LicenceExperience in using minor tools and equipmentAs a part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to obtain an Australian Police check and a Pre-Employment Assessment as part of our background checks.
