The Role: The Grounds Supervisor leads a dedicated team, driving exceptional grounds maintenance outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
As a key leader, the Grounds Supervisor will foster a culture of continuous improvement using their expertise in best horticultural practices, safety protocols, and landscaping equipment.
This role is responsible for the supervision, technical support and ongoing development of the grounds and landscape team working across planned improvements and adhoc works.
As the Grounds Supervisor you will have oversight of the Kew and Donvale sites and will be required to move between the campuses as times.
The Person: To be successful in this position, you will have:
Previous industry experience or equivalent leadership experience Qualifications in Parks/Gardens, Horticulture or Turf Management or working towards (or equivalent experience) would be highly regarded Strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills Positive attitude, problem-solving approach and integrity Passion for outdoor work and environmental improvements Working from Heights, Rope Access or equivalent certifications are highly regarded Commitment to adhering to WH&S policies, ensuring a safe and productive workplace Valid driver's license A valid Employee Working with Children Check is a requirement of employment for this position.
