Located only 2km from the heart of town in a riverside location, BIG4 Ingenia Holidays Wagga Wagga offers a range of accommodation options, including cabins for a variety of groups sizes and budgets, as well as caravan and camping sites, some even being pet friendly so you can bring your pooch along.About the RoleAs Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide a high level of customer service to our guests while maintaining the grounds of the park, including a vast array of amenities.
You will also coach, train, and mentor the Grounds and Maintenance team to ensure high standards are maintained.This is a Full-Time, permanent position.ResponsibilitiesMaintain all public open space areas to a high standard as indicated on the site plan.Ensure that all works carried out by Grounds & Maintenance are completed to a high-quality standard and in accordance with instructions.Maintain garden beds including pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, and hedging as required.Maintain lawns and plants.Manage the site budget allocated to grounds and maintenance and ensure remain within budget.Perform maintenance and general repairs in relation to guest and resident accommodation.Regularly check and attend to general repairs to all public open space areas as required.Respond and assess permanent resident queries and escalate to relevant trades if required.Advise the Manager of any significant financial pressures and strains put on the site as a result of budgetary limitations.Ensure rubbish bins are collected and emptied.Clean and maintain the pool and pool area in accordance with procedures (if applicable).Arrange and administer all repairs and/or maintenance of tools and equipment.Ensure there is a maintenance register in place to record equipment servicing and repairs.At all times exercise and maintain the highest respect for the residents, guests and employees.Overnight shifts required.About YouDemonstrated experience in a grounds/maintenance role.Full 'C' class drivers license.Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and direction to other staff.Excellent customer service skills and teamwork.Availability to work weekends.Culture and BenefitsEmployee rewards and recognition program.Discounted accommodation rates at Ingenia holiday parks.Friendly environment.Please note that to be considered for this role you must be able to work in Australia and be residing in Australia at the time of application.
