James Sheahan Catholic High School, Orange Permanent, Full time Position Commencing: ASAP by negotiation About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Grounds/Farm/Maintenance Assistant to become a valuable addition to our remarkable team at James Sheahan Catholic High School, Orange. The Grounds/Farm/Maintenance Assistant in a Secondary Catholic School is someone who can collaboratively contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of the school's physical environment. This includes maintaining the grounds, assisting with farm duties, and performing various maintenance tasks. The role requires a dedicated individual who is capable of implementing effective maintenance strategies while creating a safe and orderly environment for the school community. About you (Selection Criteria) We are looking for someone who can address the following selection criteria: Be able to work without supervision and to a deadline Comply with WHS regulations Excellent manual and equipment / tool operational and maintenance experience Experience in building and ground maintenance Experience in sourcing and ordering supplies for livestock and farm Experience with livestock and farm maintenance Good team, communication and interpersonal skills Have a current WWCC and a current driver's licence (LR/MR/HR licence would be an advantage).
