Join a progressive & supportive Not-for-Profit organisation! 60 hours per fortnight - 4 Days per week Carinity – Brownesholme is looking for a Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join the team. The Grounds and Maintenance Officer carries out building and equipment maintenance as well as ensuring the service's gardens and grounds are in a presentable condition at different sites. The role demonstrates a problem-solving approach to planning, implementation, and evaluation of work situations.
This role is a part-time position (60 hours per fortnight - 4 Days per week) What do I need for the role? Knowledge and/or significant experience in the maintenance, carpentry or building field. Knowledge of and experience in gardening and groundskeeping. Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety Standards and requirements relevant to the role. Ability to use a ride-on mower. Experience maintaining similar small machinery/equipment to those used in our services. Proficiency in the use of Office 365, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet. This role works across our Toowoomba cluster, including a Residential Aged Care, a Home Care Office and a Retirement Village. Brownesholme Residence is located in Highfields, just a short drive from Toowoomba and close to all amenities.
