Ground Transport Officer

We are looking for a warm and welcoming Ground Transport Officer to join our exceptional team at Perth Airport.
Voted Australia's best major airport in 2019, we strive to provide a seamless travel experience for all our domestic, interstate, and international visitors.
As Perth Airport operates on a 24/7 basis, you will work on a shift roster, alternating between night and day shifts, covering our car parks and terminal forecourt.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Providing guidance, information, and assistance to all Perth Airport visitorsDelivering exceptional customer service and responding promptly to customer enquiriesConducting patrols and routine inspections of Perth Airport roadways, forecourts, and facilitiesIdentifying any defects, hazards, or suspicious activity and ensuring area safetyMaintaining accurate records related to health and safety, training, and customer serviceWe are looking for a candidate who has:
Proven history and passion for working within a customer service spaceAn approachable manner and ability to build rapport quicklyGreat listening skills and communication abilitiesThe composure to handle challenging situationsA full Driver's LicenceA WACE certificate (or equivalent)Experience in Basic Worksite Traffic Management and Traffic Control (pre-requisite Construction White Card) or the willingness to obtain these qualificationsExperience in RIIWHS302D - Implement traffic management plan and RIIWHS250D - Control Traffic with a stop-slow bat would be highly desirable, along with a First Aid qualificationWe are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team representative of the community we serve.
