What you'll be doing… As a Ground Operations Training and Standards Specialist you will deliver high quality solutions, training, and assessment within the Ground Operations space to support the introduction of the E190-E2 aircraft into VARA's network.
With extensive experience in airport and airline operations and specialised expertise in Ramp and Guest Services, this Specialist will leverage their operational experience and technical writing skills to develop the ground handling policies, procedures, and assessments for the E190-E2 aircraft.
They will then use their outstanding interpersonal and facilitation skills to build the capabilities of the front-line teams and conduct comprehensive training and assessment activities to meet the timeframes of the project You will… Manage the ground handling training and assessment plan for the project period and beyond; Work closely with VAGP Training Academy to formulate training plans for VARA ground handling operations, finding the most effective and cost efficient pathways; Review standards and assessment data to determine strengths and weaknesses with the training and assessment material.
Prepare ground handling standards and policies for VARA's fleet, ensuring alignment with VAGP policies and procedures where applicable.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities relating to ground handling standards as they relate to VARA's fleet, with the core aim of improving ground handling safety Deliver high quality training courses for initial and recurrent training for the project covering classroom, practical, computer-based training and coaching Support the project timeframes and budget by delivering training within set timeframes and cost.
Work closely with the VAGP GSE team to ensure that all required GSE is in place for the induction of the E190-E2.
Take responsibility for the deliverable actions associated with the induction of the E190-E2 aircraft on behalf of VARA Operations Delivery.
