About the Role As Operations Insights Manager, you'll be the go-to expert in optimizing restaurant operations. Reporting to the Operations System Manager, you'll harness tools like Tanda, Crunchtime, and PowerBI to analyze labour, productivity, and efficiency data. Your insights will fuel improvements across all Grill'd locations, helping us deliver the best customer and team experience.
Key Responsibilities Optimize Labour & Rostering: Provide data-driven strategies to enhance productivity and labour cost controls. Forecasting & Planning: Manage labour forecasting and optimize rostering across all levels, from head office to restaurants. Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to Enterprise Agreements, traineeship programs, and rostering practices. Streamline Operations: Analyze throughput and speed metrics, set performance targets, and enhance restaurant efficiency. Reporting & Insights: Deliver PowerBI reports that turn data into actionable recommendations for labour and performance. Reduce Wastage: Oversee Crunchtime compliance to improve stock management and reduce waste. Drive Productivity: Develop station guides and manage labour planning for special events and holidays. Collaborate with Leaders: Partner with Restaurant and Operations Managers to implement impactful improvements. Support the Team: Offer ongoing feedback and create practical, data-informed solutions for better results. What You'll Bring Strong analytical skills to transform data into meaningful actions. Hospitality or QSR experience—understanding fast-paced environments is a bonus. Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and PowerBI for clear and impactful reporting. A curious, problem-solving mindset with a knack for process improvements. Adaptable communication style to connect with diverse teams and stakeholders. Excellent organizational and collaboration skills. Qualifications & Experience Degree in analytics, business, or finance (preferred). Proven experience in driving performance improvements through data. Proven track record of presenting insights to senior leadership with actionable outcomes.
