About the Opportunity Based in Dalby , Council is seeking a Civil Designer OR Senior Civil Designer (depending on qualifications and experience), to become an integral part of the design team responsible for the efficient and cost-effective delivery of a range of design services including civil works, surveying, drafting and estimating.

This role is full time, working 36.25 hours per week with a fortnightly RDO.

Reporting to the Civil Design Coordinator, you will be:
Developing cost-effective design based on construction requirements & adhering to established design guidelines and procedures.
Analysing design issues and recommending corrective actions.
Performing civil design analysis and calculations according to project recommendations.
Determining construction cost and material estimates based on civil designs.
About yourself A person in this position will need to hold a relevant qualification which may include an Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering; Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering/ Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering/ Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or in a related field, OR be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience.

It is also highly desirable for the successful candidate to have a thorough knowledge of applicable design standards for road and drainage, and local government engineering practices and legislation.
