Greg Elks commenced practising as Gregory P Elks Solicitor in 2003 Specialising in Criminal Law matters, from simple Traffic matters to matters in the Court of Criminal Appeal. The firm expanded in 2012 and was renamed Greg Elks & Associates Lawyers.
Greg Elks is the Principal Solicitor at Greg Elks and Associates Lawyers. He is an Accredited Specialist Criminal Lawyer, gaining that Accreditation in 1999 from the Law Society of NSW.
Greg has a wealth of experience in Criminal Law following thirteen years with the NSW Police Force finally attaining the rank of Sergeant and working as a Police Prosecutor. Following his time as a Police Prosecutor Greg also worked for a number of years at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Prosecuting serious matters on behalf of the DPP.
Greg has now spent over the last twenty years as a Criminal Defence Lawyer, spending many years as a Senior Solicitor at the Legal Aid Commission of NSW where he was responsible for the Supervision of many Junior Lawyers whilst also conducting a Practice of Serious Criminal matters in both the District and Supreme Courts.
