The Opportunity
Greenslopes Private Hospital has a fantastic opportunity available for a Quality and Risk Manager to join our team!

Acting as the accountable representative for the Hospital Quality Management System, this position will see you lead a highly skilled and functioning team that monitors and responds to our health outcomes to ensure the hospital is continuously providing high quality and safe patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:
Monitor, develop and implement strategies and systems that ensure the delivery of safe, high quality and patient centered services.
Foster a culture of safety across the hospital through excellent communication and continuous improvement.
Ensure adherence to national policies, the National Safety and Quality Health Service and supporting standards and other regulatory requirements.
Establish collaborative working relationships with clinical and non-clinical leaders across the Hospital and the broader Ramsay Health Care network.
About You
You are a self-motivated professional with excellent communication and leadership skills to drive a culture of safety across a large-scale, multidisciplinary organisation.
With excellent organisational skills, you are detail oriented and have proven strategic planning, workforce management and policy development skills.

Your ability to lead, empower and engage staff, and act as a positive role model is essential for this role.

Your Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare administration Minimum of 5 years' experience in an acute hospital setting Demonstrated experience with facilitating activities or processes to achieving hospital wide accreditation Expert knowledge of clinical governance and risk management systems that promote high quality care Demonstrated capacity to collect, interpret and use clinical data to inform clinical care and hospital processes Experience in change management Postgraduate qualifications in Management / Quality and Safety are desirable This is an important role that offers challenge, variety and long-term career prospects for the right person.
