We're currently working with an innovative and ambitious global renewable energy developer to help them add additional strength to their transactions team.
You will play a crucial role in evaluating and executing transactions that enhance our renewable energy portfolio. You will leverage your strong financial modelling skills to build comprehensive models from scratch, providing critical insights to inform decision-making and strategy.
Your role: Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models for renewable energy projects, including but not limited to solar, wind, and energy storage.
Conduct thorough financial analysis, including cash flow projections, sensitivity analysis, and scenario modelling.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for modelling purposes.
Evaluate potential investment opportunities and provide actionable recommendations based on financial analysis.
Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to identify potential impacts on project feasibility.
Contribute to due diligence processes for project acquisitions and financings.
Your background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
Proven experience (ideally 3+ years) in financial modelling, preferably within the renewable energy sector or infrastructure finance.
Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modelling software; experience with other financial analysis tools is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong understanding of financing structures and regulatory frameworks.
Passion for renewable energy and commitment to sustainability.
