Graphic Designer - Retail

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually engaging designs that are aligned with the brand's identity and marketing strategy. This role requires a strong understanding of retail design trends, consumer behaviour, and digital media.
You will collaborate closely with the marketing, digital, and product teams to create content that is aligned to their overall brand look and feel.
Responsibilities: Design and develop visually compelling content for various platforms, including digital ads, social media, email campaigns, retail signage and POS collateral, packaging, campaign style look books, and website assets. Create and maintain brand identity through consistent design across all materials. Work closely with the marketing and product teams to design promotional materials for product launches and seasonal campaigns. Assist in the creation of digital content, including product photography, retouching, and video editing. Translate marketing briefs into creative concepts and designs that align with business goals. Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive visual identity. Stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies to continually enhance the brand's creative output. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail. Collaborate with external partners such as photographers, printers, and agencies when necessary. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, or a related field. Proven experience (2-4 years) as a Graphic Designer, preferably within the retail, sports apparel, or fashion industry. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including digital and print. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.). Experience with digital media design (social media ads, website banners, email templates). Familiarity with HTML/CSS for basic web design and an understanding of user experience (UX) design is a plus. Excellent attention to detail, typography skills, and colour theory knowledge. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. A passion for creativity and design, with a keen eye for aesthetics and market trends. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to shifting priorities.
