MBM is a national independent Australian owned property consultancy specialising in Quantity Surveying, Building Consultancy, Tax & Asset Services, PPP Advisory, Infrastructure, Facilities Management Advisory and Expert Witness Matters.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Graphic Designer will work 3 days a week with the other Graphic Designer, the Marketing team and senior management to improve both internal and external documents and communications for MBM. The incumbent will assist in the process of defining requirements, visualising, design and develop a range of digital and creative visual content including illustrations, layouts and other designs to communicate ideas and information visually. The designs should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message.Key Responsibilities:Brochure and Presentation Design:

Assist in creating visually compelling brochures, presentations, fee proposal templates, branding materials, email signatures, invitations, and more, all under the guidance of senior designers.Collaborative Project Development:

Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand the scope and objectives of various projects, learning how to effectively define and translate project requirements into design concepts.Design Best Practices:

Receive and apply advice on design best practices, including features, colour schemes, and user experience principles, to enhance the quality and effectiveness of design outputs.Visual Appeal and Brand Alignment:

Assist in ensuring that final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and consistent with the brand's identity, with oversight from experienced designers.Asset Management:

Help manage, update, and create collateral assets, gaining hands-on experience in asset management and organisation.Email Signature Design:

Contribute to the design and update of email signature blocks, ensuring they are professional and brand-aligned.Client Communication Layouts:

Aid in designing layouts for client communications, learning and applying layout design principles to create clear and impactful designs.Fee Proposal Enhancement:

Support the improvement of fee proposal templates and drafts by incorporating approved imagery, layouts, and design elements.Proposal Preparation and Proofreading:

Assist in the preparation and proofreading of fee proposals, ensuring accuracy and visual consistency.Brand and Message Conveyance:

Learn to select appropriate descriptions and imagery that effectively convey the company's brand and message.Trend and Competitor Research:

Assist in monitoring and researching industry trends, competitors, and best practices to inform and inspire design work.Brand Guideline Adherence:

Understand and adhere to brand guidelines, ensuring design consistency across all digital and print mediums.Priority and Deadline Management:

Develop skills in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a professional setting.Communication Skills Development:

Enhance verbal and written communication skills through practical design work and constructive feedback.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, or a related field.2-3 years of experience in a similar role. Prior experience working in graphic design, either through internships, freelance work or previous employment.Experience in creating digital and print materials such as brochures, websites, social media graphics and advertisements.Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).Familiarity with web design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles can be beneficial.Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design styles and abilities.Excellent sense of typography, colour theory, and layout design.Ability to create visually appealing and effective designs that meet client objectives.Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to analyse design briefs and client requirements to produce suitable design solutions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to present and explain design concepts clearly to clients and team members.Strong organisational and time-management skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Up-to-date knowledge of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.Ability to work collaboratively with a team, including other designer, marketing team and hubs.Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality and accurate design output.What We Offer:Professional Growth:
