The Graphic Designer supports the formulation, design and execution of graphic-based concepts to support bids and presentations. This includes development of infographics, copywriting, and layout of design for visual communications, media, digital and marketing.To be successful in this role you will be able to support a fast-paced environment with a responsive, positive and outcome-oriented approach to client service and a keen eye for detail. You will need excellent time management skills and the ability to appropriately prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines and follow through on all assigned tasks to ensure timely completion.In addition, this role will be solely responsible for day-to-day management of all visual assets, maintenance and upkeep of the visual assets library and tracking external logo and visual assets usage both internally and externally.Key ResponsibilitiesCreating visual content for all Raytheon Australia internal and external channels.Conceive, design, layout, and coordinate creative artwork for events, wall displays, virtual environments, presentations, videos, TV, digital and social media, advertisements, and other creative channels.Translate facts and features of subject material into graphic terms that best convey intended meaning.Develop interpretive themes that express ideas and information and communicate mood, emphasis, insight, viewpoint, and similar visual impressions.Design and develop 2D animations and motion graphics fit for any environment or platform.Develop engaging, professional and audience specific creative artwork, animation, and graphic design materials.Support creative sessions for internal and external campaign kick-offs.Ensure all design work conforms to the Raytheon Australia style guide and visual identity.Ensure the content is usable, accessible, customer focused, and visually consistent with brand values and direction.Collaborate cross functionally to deliver best fit design solutions for the organisation.Edit photographs and graphics.Create custom illustrations, 2D graphics and animations.Assist in third party print and signage quoting, ordering, delivery, and organisation.Keep up to date and provide guidance on graphic technology.Skills, Experience and QualificationsDegree in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 2 – 5 years prior relevant experience.Skilled in publishing, typesetting, graphic editing, and in using the Adobe Creative Suite.Demonstrated experience in print and digital.CASA drone accreditation would be desirable.Theoretical to advanced knowledge of 2D animation and motion graphics.Advanced skills in graphic design, illustration, digital design, 2D animation and motion graphics.Experience working with social media, search engine optimisation, and online reporting tools.You must be an Australian citizen and/or eligible to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as needed.
