Marketing Communications (Marketing & Communications) IWC is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate concepts into captivating designs. The Graphic Designer will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of our brands and bringing our ideas to life across various platforms.ABOUT IWC:IWC is an Aboriginal community-controlled and multi-accredited health and wellbeing organisation that delivers inclusive services to Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Bundaberg and the Wide Bay Burnett.POSITION DESCRIPTION:Create visually compelling designs for print and digital media, including but not limited to branding materials, marketing collateral, social media graphics, presentations, and website assets.Collaborate with teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines.Take ownership of projects from initial concept to final production, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and quality standards.Stay current with design trends, techniques, and software to enhance skills and creative output continually.Provide creative input and contribute to brainstorming sessions and project ideation.Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field (is preferred but not essential). Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout techniques.Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced REQUIREMENTS: A current driver's licence is essential or ability to obtain. A First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.A Blue Card (Working with Children Card QLD)* or ability to obtain.A Federal Police Check or ability to obtain.* No Card, No Start legislation means that the successful applicant will need to hold a valid blue card before they start work. IWC will cover the cost of this application for the successful candidate. SALARY PACKAGE:Your Salary Package is made up of the following: - Salary Sacrifice Packaging valued up to $15,990 per annum – adding approximately $4,000 to your take-home pay (available after completion of probation).Meals and Entertainment Package up to $2,600 per annum (available after completion of probation)Superannuation as per NES.
