Part-time Graphic Designer - Farm Weekly - Newspaper basedThe OpportunityJoin WA's biggest selling rural and agricultural newspaper Further develop your skills and knowledge within an experienced print production team Competitive salary and flexible working on offer Farm Weekly, WA's biggest selling rural and agricultural newspaper, has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic graphic designer looking to further their career.The role will be based from our South Perth office.
The opportunity will see you responsible for designing adverts and pages for the newspaper.
You will be required to work Monday and Tuesday which are press days (Monday 9am-7pm_one hour for lunch, Tuesday, 9.30am-8pm_one hour for lunch).A bit about youThe ideal candidate will: Be a graphic designer with a newspaper mentality, experienced in InDesign and Photoshop and working knowledge of Microsoft Have strong time management, organisational and self-management skills Be deadline-driven, results-oriented and have an ability to prioritise daily duties Have a strong sense of initiative Have attention to detail and problem-solving skills Have knowledge of Pongrass (desired but not essential) What we offer in return: Training and excellent support within a thriving team Collaborative, cross-functional working environment Competitive salary Great opportunity to grow and expand your skills with an industry leader Progressive Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
