About the role We are currently seeking a creative and passionate Graphic Designer to join the Dotti team. Reporting to the Merchandise Manager and working closely with the Product team, the successful candidate will be responsible for creatively bringing each product concept to life through the production of story boards, designing and developing yardage prints from studio artworks, producing CADs of our product range and developing trend books which support the Dotti range direction for the upcoming season.
Responsibilities Design artworks, key new shapes and concepts for developmentWork closely with Merchandise Manager to complete story boards outlining direction for seasonal and monthly trends and collection conceptsDevelop trend direction booklets at the beginning of each seasonContinually research and develop garment and design conceptsLiaise with Product Team on artwork, layout dimensions and PantonesProduce CADs of the monthly product range to assist with the Product sign off and approval processWork with the Merchandise Manager to establish monthly colour palettes and ensure the product teams are given the right colour standard information to ensure ranges are cohesive across categoriesProduce artwork and CADs to the high standard and specific requirements required for Licensed partners to approve designs to ProductionOversee the Junior Designer to design product labelling when required in line with Dotti branding. This will include branding for Licensed Partners (such as Barbie, Hello Kitty etc.)Oversee the Junior Designer to assist VM and Marketing teams when briefing creative agency to ensure product concepts are understood to allow for effective communication strategy developmentProduce product concept boards when required to support Board meeting and Executive meeting presentationsSkills & Experience Strong knowledge and experience in working with Mac, In Design, Photoshop and IllustratorGraphic design experience within retail fashion with fabric knowledge (yardage printing an advantage)Strong illustration skills and a natural creative flairExcellent communication and the ability to work as part of a teamOutstanding attention to detail and time management skillsThis is an exciting opportunity to join the Dotti brand.
