Job DescriptionAbout the role The grant writer will play a key role in ensuring ATSICHS' services can continue to be delivered for the community by seeking out and applying for a range of funding opportunities across the services we deliver. The role will involve working collaboratively with colleagues across the organization to identify opportunities and to craft compelling funding cases for funding bodies.
Duties Manage the end-to-end grant application process, ensuring a cohesive workflow from initiation to submission.Develop budgets and monitor grant expenditures.Conduct research on potential grant sources, including government, private foundations, corporate sponsorships, and individual donors.Monitor trends and developments in the funding landscape, including changes in government policies and funding priorities, to ensure a best-practice approach is always adopted.Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure an integrated and coordinated approach.Provide timely and accurate information to internal and external stakeholders and support grant recipients to maximise the success and efficiency of their grant.Perform monthly review of tasks.Develop and implement grant processes, policies, and procedures.Culture Enjoy working in an organisation that makes a difference in the community. Starting annual salary of $86,800 (depending on qualifications and experience).11.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay).Desired Skills and ExperienceCOVID-19 Requirement Immunisation history showing you have received two doses of a Covid - 19 vaccine is encouraged.Required Bachelor's degree in business, communications, journalism or a field related to ATSICHS service delivery.A proven track record in the submission of successful tenders, grants or proposals in the health and/or community services sector.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High level organisational and administration skills, including the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.Knowledge of funding opportunities and grant application processes.Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively liaise and build strong relationships with a broad range of people, both internally and externally.Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.Strong computer literacy skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office Suite.National Police Clearance.Blue Card Clearance.Preferred Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the Aboriginal community-controlled health services sector.Proven experience in grant writing or related roles within the not-for-profit sector.How to apply If this sounds like you, please submit your application by following the links on the recruitment page.
