An exciting opportunity exists for two talented and passionate individuals to join the Multicultural Affairs Branch, as a Grants Program Officer at the Department of Premier and Cabinet. We have 1 x Ongoing role and 1 x Fixed-term 12 month position on offer. As a Grants Program Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting all stages of grants delivery with the flagship Multicultural Festivals and Events grants program. To be successful in the role you will have highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, a passion for systems, process and program improvements and the ability to work flexibly across multiple priorities. Ideally you will have strong experience with grant management databases (Grants360) and Victorian Government briefing and correspondence systems.
The successful candidate will demonstrate sound grants management and analytical and problem-solving skills to support the delivery of the MFE grants program. This role will also require effective communication, stakeholder engagement and project management skills to deliver high-quality briefs and written advice for active grants managed by the team.

About you As our ideal candidate, you will have:
Demonstrated experience supporting the delivery of grant programs and sound knowledge and understanding of Victorian government policies and processes relating to grant program management.Demonstrated experience preparing briefs, reports and correspondence on a range of complex and/or sensitive issues with high attention to detail.Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills, with an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.Strong project management skills and the ability to contribute positively to a team environment.Sound conceptual and analytical ability to deal with concepts and complexity comfortably.Strong self-management skills including the ability to plan and prioritise work to ensure outcomes are achieved.How to apply:
