Grants & Funding Manager - Aboriginal IdentifiedNote: This is an Identified position for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People. Aboriginality is a genuine qualification authorised under Section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination ACT 1977.We are currently seeking a proactive full-time Grants & Funding Manager. This position will be based in Mount Druitt but will require working across all sites and travel when necessary.Wellington Aboriginal Corporation Health Service (WACHS) is an Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation that aims to empower Aboriginal people to take control of their individual, family, and community health and wellbeing needs through our clinical and community programs.Our main services are in Wellington, Dubbo, Moree, Western Sydney, Penrith, Nepean, and Blue Mountains, and we provide outreach services to other towns and communities through our regional programs.Key Responsibilities:Manage grant programs, grant agreements, and the EOFY variation process with keen attention to detail.Handle government procurement and tenders, including assessment processes.Maintain and build effective relationships with grant recipients and communicate effectively with potential grant applicants.Manage complex and competing timeframes across multiple projects.Report grant, contract, and project progress to key stakeholders (internal and external).Work with CEO & CFO to forecast cash flow within existing budget processes.Skills, Experience & Mandatory Requirements:Relevant Tertiary qualification.Recent contract and grant management experience across a range of Government Health organisations or similar environments (essential).Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to speak at all levels (plain English).A Current National Police Check.A Current Working With Children Check NSW.Current Driver's License that allows you to drive in Australia.COVID-19 Vaccination and Booster information (or evidence of a valid medical exemption).Your application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as a Grants Funding Manager?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have with forecasting for businesses?Do you have a current Working With Children (WWC) Check?Do you have a current Australian driver's licence?Do you have experience preparing and submitting tenders?
