Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide general legal support for multiple projects across Australia.Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to the development and construction of solar farms, especially EPC and O&M Contracts, as well as MOUs, NDAs, LOIs, Exclusivity Agreements, Subcontracts, and Supply Agreements.Establish, implement, and lead the commercial and contractual processes regarding correspondence, notifications, insurances, variations, and claims.Implement an appropriate flow-down of main contract terms and ensure compliance with all applicable laws.Identify risks to the projects and provide counter-strategies and commercial solutions to minimise project impact.Coordinate and brief External Counsel.Lead the preparation and submission of all progress claims and negotiations with clients and partners.Manage subcontractor progress and any contractual issues, providing solutions and advice to the Project Management Team.Experience RequiredBachelor of Laws in Australia.6+ years PAE.3-5 years' experience in a top-tier law firm.Minimum 2 years of in-house experience across the infrastructure and renewables sectors.Relevant accounting or finance degree is desirable but not essential.Computer skills: Word (advanced), Excel (basic), and Outlook.Availability to travel.In return, we offer competitive salary packaging and great staff benefits, the opportunity to develop your experience with one of Australia's leading commercial solar energy companies, and most of all, an employer who truly cares for their employees!
