About the role
GrainCorp is currently seeking a Senior Port Planner for a 12-month fixed-term role, based at our Geelong site. The responsibilities of the role include:
Driving the weekly planning activities for the Terminal/s to deliver weekly grains plans ranging from receival and outload through to hygiene, fumigations etc. Working with the Operations team to ensure appropriate allocation and utilisation of all assets. Circulating the plan with the monthly planning team and operations team to ensure maximum GrainCorp value delivered and feasibility. Partnering with the Port Operations team to deliver better performance against plan. Collaborating effectively with the rest of the Supply Chain Planning team to include all relevant factors in the plan. Monitoring the gap to the monthly plan, managing any weekly exceptions, and escalating strategic annual exceptions to the annual planning team. Providing input into planning tools and recommendations for continuous improvement and ensuring data-informed decisions are made through utilisation of the tool. About your experience
