About the role Based at either our Toowoomba, Fisherman Islands, or Dubbo sites, you will be responsible for the delivery of a wide variety of exciting multi-discipline capital projects, ranging from small maintenance tasks to complex multi-million dollar infrastructure builds.
Your Project Management skill set will be fully utilized in this client-side role.
As an advisor and service provider, you will identify opportunities to improve business assets and functions, and manage projects from inception to conclusion while maintaining transparent and inclusive stakeholder communications.
This role is diverse, challenging, and satisfying, requiring management of a broad range of internal and external stakeholders across a large geographical area.
About your experience Our ideal candidate will hold a degree in Engineering with practical experience in supporting and delivering projects in any industry.
Project management experience, including management of site staff, contractors, budgets, project expenditure, schedules, safety, compliance, and project records in an industrial construction environment, is essential.
Your background may include project management, design, site engineering, or maintenance, with experience in on-site management of contractors and project activities.
Experience in the design and construction of bulk handling infrastructure, including ports, material storage, conveyors, rail, roads, control systems, and power systems, will be viewed favorably.
Other key attributes we are looking for include: Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.
A demonstrated ability to effectively manage and resolve issues during all project phases.
A willingness to travel - projects will be based across NNSW and Qld country and ports.
Computer literacy skills (MS Suite including MS Project, Excel, and Word).
Finally, you should be willing and able to travel in the role: 1-2 day trips/month during the planning phase; 2 days/week for a few consecutive weeks during the construction phase; and potentially more for larger commissioning projects.
