About the role Viterra is seeking a Grain Classification and EquipmentTechnician to join our laboratory team in Thebarton. Working in ourstate-of-the-art laboratory, you will manage classificationequipment to ensure that it is functional, calibrated and availablefor use in the laboratory and across operational sites.
Duties include but not limited to Actively engage with equipment suppliers to develop skillsand knowledge of grain quality equipment.Provide on-going equipment troubleshooting and training tooperational and laboratory employees, and Field ServicesOfficers.Conduct, support and provide guidance on internal equipmentservicing, repair and maintenance.Maintain regulatory requirements and documentation forverification of equipmentEnsure laboratory equipment processes and procedures arealigned with applicable regulatory requirements (ISO22000:2018, ISO 17025 and ISO 17034 for NATA accreditation,NMI, GTA Standards and AOF Standards).Research and assist with the development of newtechnologies, methods of assessment and industryinitiatives.About you Mechanical skills with experience in supporting grainquality and classification equipment preferred.Strong attention to detailStrong organisational skills and the ability to prioritisetasks.Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently, be self-motivated andproactive.Proven ability to network and build strong professionalrelationships.Ability to work in a high-pressure environment andproactively manage stakeholders and conflictingpriorities.As well as providing an empowering culture, Viterra promotes arange of employee benefits including:
