These roles are permanent and are designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to real-world accounting scenarios, helping you develop the skills needed to excel in your accounting career.Key responsibilitiesKey responsibilities vary based on which department you'll work in:External Audit DepartmentParticipate with your team in audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across different industries.Assist in conducting financial statement reviews and verification procedures.Collaborate with senior auditors to analyse financial data and assess internal controls.Help prepare comprehensive audit reports and recommendations for clients.Risk Consulting and Internal Audit DepartmentParticipate with your team in internal audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across different industries.Gather and consolidate data supplied by clients to review against internal audits.Evaluate the processes and systems of clients and learn to measure their efficiency and effectiveness.Support the team in communicating internal audit results to clients.Business Services DepartmentAssist in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance-related documents.Collaborate with team members to provide valuable insights into clients' financial performance.Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve clients' financial efficiency.Gain exposure to various accounting software and tools used in accounting.No matter which department you work in, you would be joining a busy, successful workplace where you will be more than just a number cruncher.
