Wagga Wagga City Council is currently seeking an energetic and motivated individual with suitable qualifications to join our Subdivisions Team as a Graduate Subdivisions Engineer.
What we will offer: Commencing salary of $3,145.50 gross per fortnight plus superannuation with the opportunity to progress through an increasing pay scale in line with skills and experience in the role.

Your new role: The Graduate Subdivision Engineer will work under the mentorship of the Development & Subdivisions Engineer Coordinator, and other Senior Engineers within Council.
Your progression will depend upon your ability to learn and develop.
As the Graduate Subdivisions Engineer, you can expect to be involved with the following: Assisting in the assessment of development applications; Assisting in the administration of the Development Control Process; and Contributing to the investigation, audit and quality control inspections of construction works in subdivision development as well as infrastructure expansion.
What you will need to succeed: The successful applicant will have: Completed or working towards completion of a relevant degree in Civil Engineering by the end of 2024 A passion for designing and analysing solutions to complex civil engineering problems from broad concepts to fine details Current General Construction Induction Card Class C Driver's Licence What is next?
