We offer income protection insurance & the ability to salary sacrifice Family time and support is essential, and we provide up to 12 weeks paid parental leave We offer alternative public holiday leave for those needing to substitute another day for a public holiday to celebrate a religious belief, etc. Employee Assistance Program Support Annual salary reviews Financial support for Chartership What you'll do Design of structures as part of a broader team within the Built Environment: Hospitals, Education Facilities, Sporting Facilities, Commercial Mixed Use Developments - focusing on elemental design to begin with. Exposure to design of structures across all materials Post-Tensioned Concrete, Steel, Timber. Carry out site investigations under the supervision and guidance of an experienced engineer. Carry out structural design process from concept all the way through to construction stage. Be trained in structural computational models using software such as ETABS RAPT and Spacegass. Carry out structural calculations, and prepare drawings providing solutions to design issues. Work on multi-disciplinary design projects liaising with Civil, Sustainability and Building Services teams. Collaborate with external stakeholders including architects, developers, commercial builders and local/state government bodies. Contribute to quantifying and reducing embodied carbon in structural designs. The program starts as early as January 2025, and you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia, or New Zealand Citizen.
