As a Graduate Security Analyst at Swyftx, you'll step into a fast-paced, evolving environment, working alongside a team of experts dedicated to safeguarding our platform. You'll be hands-on, analysing security threats, identifying vulnerabilities, and contributing to the protection of our users.At Swyftx, we support your growth, encourage you to tackle challenges, and help you make a real impact. We're looking for graduates ready to start either this year or in early 2025, and please note that this is a hybrid role, with 3-4 days per week in our vibrant Milton office.Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:Help monitor and support daily security activities: Review detected incidents to figure out how serious they are, escalate issues when necessary to make sure they're handled quickly, follow and maintain response processes, and document and share any findings from your reviews.Identify and Address Vulnerabilities: Monitor and assess emerging threats and vulnerabilities to the environment and ensure those requiring action are addressed.Support Security Tools: Assist in setting up and maintaining security tools and help monitor network activity to ensure our systems are protected.Proactive Threat-Hunting: Conduct threat-hunting activities to identify and mitigate suspicious activities.Collaborate Across Teams: Work with various teams to identify security needs and provide recommendations.What we're looking for:You're currently studying (or have recently finished) a degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field, expecting to graduate in 2024 or 2025.You have a basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.You enjoy working in teams, but you're also comfortable handling tasks independently when needed.You're able to communicate clearly, both in writing and when speaking.You have a knack for solving problems and identifying security challenges.You're passionate about cybersecurity and excited to keep learning and growing in the field.Some of our perks and benefits include:Unlimited fee-free trading.Inhouse barista.Career growth, training, mentorship, and development opportunities.Social activities, game breaks and recognition awards.Fully stocked kitchen, breakfast and lunch foods, unlimited fresh fruit and snacks.Weekly catered lunches on a Wednesday.At Swyftx, we're not just building a diverse and dynamic environment; we're celebrating it.
