The Role Our company is seeking a bubbly Administration Officer to manage a variety of administrative duties and organise everyday office tasks. The successful applicant's job is to encourage and maintain a pleasant working environment, and to ensure the office is operating at its maximum potential at all times. Your task will also entail maintaining office efficiency, communication and facilitating the efficient functioning of the office's day-to-day procedures and operations. The chosen candidate's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, managing phones and emails, scheduling lessons for students, arranging meetings and providing general support to other staff members. Prior experience in a similar role would be beneficial for this position. The successful applicant will be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Duties & Responsibilities The successful applicant will carry out the following duties and responsibilities:
Efficiently perform administrative tasks including managing phones and emails, collecting and sending mail, scheduling student driving lessons, planning meetings, regularly updating the company Social Media and ordering of office supplies. Assist students with their enquiries by providing appropriate and necessary information. Ensure the office and Company Fleet maintains a high level of cleanliness, and arrange for necessary repairs of plant & equipment including vehicles. Maintain good relationships with office vendors and service providers so that the best price negotiation can always be made. Assist with organisation of office events and functions, including conferences or celebratory proceedings. Maintain Quality Assurance systems and processes. Requirements The successful applicant will have the following experience and skills:
Previous experience in a similar administrative role, or working in a RTO environment. A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. An understanding of office policies and procedures. Experience using office equipment such as printers, PCs, and scanners. An understanding of electronic scheduling software. Exceptional time management skills, with the skill to multi-task and prioritise tasks. High level problem solving skills, with superior attention to detail. Outstanding verbal and non-verbal communicational skills. High levels of organisational ability, and the ability to suggest & administer more efficient ways to run the office.
