Salary Range: Minimum $77,318 Maximum $77,318
Location: Permanent Full Time Roles – Melbourne and Canberra
About the Role We are seeking applications from people from a range of academic backgrounds to join our graduate program. At the Productivity Commission, we undertake independent research and provide advice to Government on ways to improve the economic and social wellbeing of all Australians. To ensure our work is informed by, and reflects the rich diversity of our nation, the Commission consults with a broad range of individuals, businesses, academics, governments, research groups, and non-profit organisations when undertaking research and developing advice for government.
We are searching for highly motivated individuals who can demonstrate an awareness of Australian economic conditions and the policy landscape. Successful applicants will possess a range of capabilities including well-developed conceptual, analytical and research skills, good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
We have offices in Melbourne and Canberra, and offer hybrid working arrangements, and relocation assistance if required to successful applicants. Minimum Requirements To be eligible, successful applicants must complete a relevant academic qualification by January 2025 (undergraduate degree or higher). Qualifications in economics, commerce, mathematics and statistics, public policy, law, social sciences, Indigenous studies, environmental science, and other fields relevant to public policy would be well regarded.
Successful applicants will commence in February 2025, although an alternative start date may be negotiated.
