Day Shifts available Monday to FridayAbout this Role: We are currently seeking Graduate Registered Nurses to join our newly developed Graduate Nurse Program at our brand new, state of the art aged care residence based in Singleton.
We are looking for people who will strive to maintain and enhance the health and well-being of our residents while offering them dignity, safety, and independence.
We offer a supportive environment with dedicated and experienced clinical teams on-site, a graduate nurse program coordinator to guide and support you along the way and a structured 12-month graduate nurse program covering a range of comprehensive clinical and development orientation models designed to develop and support you in your first year as a graduate nurse. Current unrestricted registration with AHPRALess than 12 months of post-registration clinical experience as a Registered NurseAn understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements as a Registered NurseAbility to work in a multidisciplinary team of like-minded care professionalsAn understanding of assessments and developing care plansAbility to learn to effectively communicate complex care plan needs to incoming residents and their representativesAn understanding of Aged Care Quality StandardsDemonstrated organisational and time management skillsDemonstrated well-developed computer and documentation skillsExcellent communication and clinical problem-solving skillsConfidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomouslyAvailable to work Monday to Friday day shiftsMust be eligible to work in Australia (International Students on Graduate Visa are welcome to apply)Job offers will be subject to a National Police Check and evidence of a minimum of three (3) Covid-19 vaccination status.
