The Role We are looking for Graduate Registered Nurses who are passionate about a person-centered approach to care, to join our 88-bed facility in Kempsey NSW.
You must be dedicated to working and understanding the residential aged care environment and standards.
We have a range of shifts available and a culture of high-level empathy and compassion for our residents.
The Location Kempsey, New South Wales, is a charming town situated on the Mid North Coast of the state.
Known for its scenic beauty along the Macleay River, Kempsey offers a blend of natural landscapes and a rich cultural heritage.
The town boasts a welcoming community, historical sites, and an array of outdoor activities, making it an attractive destination for both residents and visitors seeking a mix of history and natural beauty.
Kempsey is conveniently located midway between Sydney and Brisbane, making it an ideal location to live along the East Coast of Australia.
What you will do Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and their representatives Development and evaluation of individualised resident care plans Supervise and support Personal Care Workers Clinical care including wound management, palliative care, and medication management Liaison with medical and allied healthcare staff Provision of safe, high-quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards Positive resident experience through a resident-first approach
What you will bring Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse is essential Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills Hold and maintain NDIS Worker Checks as per NDIS Act 2013 (or willing to obtain) Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care Please note - Covid Vaccinations are NO longer a requirement
