As a new graduate nurse, how would you contribute to our values and vision while delivering care in the cultural context of Central Australia?(Maximum 250 words)Are you currently registered as a registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia?Are you an Australian citizen or hold a visa allowing ongoing, full-time employment in Australia?Do you have less than 6 months full-time equivalent experience as a Registered Nurse?Can you demonstrate an understanding of and ability to coordinate, client care resulting in positive clinical outcomes?Can you demonstrate written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary team?Can you demonstrate an understanding of the impact of social and cultural challenges experienced by vulnerable groups/communities and the role of the nurse in supporting them?It is a requirement of the Congress Graduate nurse program to undergo a 6 month rotation at Alice Springs Hospital.
