Our client specialises in providing commercial and clinical manufacturing across the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Life Science sectors.
The successful candidate will report to the Manufacturing leadership team.
Brisbane based ONLY The Opportunity The role has a limited amount of core duties as shown below: Supporting the management of process information management system, Discoverant, including data transcription, data analysis for routine updates, process troubleshooting and CPV (Continued Process Verification).
Building report templates in Discoverant for use on-site.
Transition existing data from the legacy system to the new system, including retrospective data transcription.
Systems Engineering and data management within a laboratory setting Additional Opportunities In addition to the core responsibilities, there will be additional opportunities to gain further experience within the relevant department., this could include; Support and learn from experienced Process Engineers and Process Validation Engineers with New Product Introduction (NPI) tech transfer and process validation activities on site.
Author cGMP-critical batch documentation, create Bills of Materials (BOM), Model incoming processes and Build Process Flow Diagrams (PFD).
Support Operations through batch execution support, process impact assessments and deviation support following guidance built by the team learning about USP and DSP biologics manufacturing process for recombinant proteins.
Support site teams with Continuous Improvement initiatives on site (known internally as Practical Process Improvements or PPI).
About You Essential - Tertiary degree in Chemical or Process Engineering (preferably majoring in bioprocess, biomedical) Experience in Bioprocessing, Biopharma, and pharmaceuticals at the lab to manufacturing scale preferred.
Experience with technology transfer preferred.
MS Office skills.
