PRIMARY ROLEJoin Balmain NB Corporation as a Graduate Portfolio Analyst and kickstart your career in real estate finance. In this role, you'll be working directly with our Head of Origination to support a diverse commercial property lending portfolio, driving real outcomes and learning all aspects of real estate finance as you're exposed to a high volume of live transactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEssential Functions Responsible for supporting the management of portfolios of financial assets predominantly commercial property loans. The following list is indicative (not comprehensive) of what this could include:
Analysis of financial statementsReview and preparation of funding requestsEnsure borrower compliance with all reporting requirements and loan covenantsAnalysis of relevant credit information as relevant/applicableCo-ordination of Origination and Credit resources to ensure compliance with Balmain's credit regimeConducting due diligence on potential transactions, modelling / financial analysis and preparing material for final creditObtaining and processing required information from internal and external stakeholdersPrepare preliminary credit submissionsAssist with legal documentation, security registration, AML requirements, etc.Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders as required.Monitoring and reporting on the portfolio as requiredSupporting any other activities as may be assigned from time to timeProactive and solutions-oriented approach, with the ability to deal with unexpected challenges.Adaptable, with strong time management and organisation skills required to handle client needs, multiple transactions and portfolio issues.COMPETENCY / JOB SKILL ATTRIBUTES / REQUIREMENTSQualifications Final-year undergraduate/Bachelor's Degree in related field.Attributes / Behaviours Professional, mature and positive attitude, providing inclusive interpersonal skills and abilities to work with various stakeholders under various situations and conditions including time constraints or technical and transactional challenges.Strong teamwork values and professional customer relationship skillsAbility to develop positive relationships with other team members, senior management, external customers and third-party vendorsAdaptable with the ability to manage multiple tasksAbility to work proactively to solve problems and work independentlyOTHER INFORMATIONStakeholders: Internal - Deal Originator, Credit Team Members, Compliance, Finance, Senior ManagementExternal – Program Partners, Lawyers, Valuers, Borrowers, Auditors#J-18808-Ljbffr
