The Opportunity
As our full-time permanent Graduate or Junior Solicitor, working out of the beautiful Coffs Harbour region from our Sawtell office, you'll be on the frontline as we doggedly seek justice.
This role will see you work across personal injury matters, including institutional abuse.
So, if you're keen to assist vulnerable people with achieving justice, and bring sensitivity to the table, this may be your next move.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is recently admitted to the legal profession, who has prior paralegal or law clerk experience and is eager to build a career in the personal injury space, or those with some practicing experience in personal injuries and keen to develop their skills further.

Providing clients with legal advice and representation to obtain compensationWorking across a variety of client matters that require a high level of sensitivityProviding legal advice to each client's particular matter to suit their level of understandingDeveloping and maintaining strong professional working relationships with clients, including effective and regular communication and managing the client's expectationsDrafting legal documentation with a high degree of attention to detailManaging and running a file load with a high level of commercial and fiscal awarenessWhat you'll bring. To thrive in this role, you'll have:
A Bachelor of Laws, with a current practising certificatePrior experience as a paralegal or law clerk, ideally in the personal injuries spaceThe passion and drive to work with vulnerable clientsA strong understanding of, and ability to interpret the relevant legislation and legal documentation.Enjoy working on legally challenging and factually complex mattersMaturity and confidence to deal with clients who may be experiencing traumaA desire to be part of a strong, cohesive team that works together to get great resultsAn innate ability to question, challenge the status quo and always stay ahead of the pack.A commitment to truly connect with those around you and work together to deliver exceptional results for our clients.The passion, motivation and enthusiasm to contribute to our culture and ensure it's a place where everyone can thrive.Shine Lawyers: A place for you.
