Construction of the mill has recently been completed, with the first gold pour completed in CY Q4 2023. Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risk the project in advance of underground production.

Job Description The Graduate Mine Surveyor is responsible for assisting with day-to-day survey control necessary to enable the mining operations to be carried out safely and efficiently. This position is offered on a full-time basis, working 12 hours per day on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster at our Bellevue Gold Project outside of Leinster WA.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Utilise appropriate equipment and survey best practices to generate accurate survey data in a timely manner.Assist with maintaining survey equipment to a high standard and ensure equipment is kept within required calibration and adjustment parameters.Ensure Emergency Plans are up to date and easily accessible.Assist with the creation of Mine Plans for regulatory submissions.Install survey stations for directional control of mining.Assist with carrying out accurate mark-ups of all designs for development and diamond drilling activities.Assist with survey plans and memos as required to a high standard and in a timely manner.Carry out development pick-ups and maintain an accurate survey as-built model.Conduct CMS surveys as required and validate results.Assist with end-of-month surveys.Complete and assist with aerial survey work as required.Conduct surface set outs and pickups as required.Conduct other miscellaneous survey tasks as required.Desired Skills and Experience Key Skills / Qualifications / Experience / Competencies: Diploma or bachelor's degree in Surveying.Previous Surveying experience in a mechanized hard-rock underground mine is desirable.Experience using Deswik Survey is desirable.Good skills in spreadsheet, presentation, word processing, and database applications.Ability to work unsupervised as required.Ability to forward plan and prioritize multiple tasks.Current C Class WA Driver's License.HLTAID003 Provide First Aid (desired, but not essential).BGL is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and building an organization that provides equal opportunities for all its employees with the objective of attracting, retaining, and developing a workforce that is representative of the wider community.
