Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer - Research and Development Focused Your new company A market leading life sciences manufacturer with a global presence, who provides a wide range of laboratory products to clients across the world. Your new role Working closely with the research and development team, you will be creating new concepts, delivering mechanical design and prototypes. You will be accountable for various projects across the project life cycle. You will be working as part of the engineering team, you will provide engineering support on technical design, and project-related matters. Be comfortable or have the ambition to be comfortable designing from a blank canvass. Involvement in assembling, making parts, designing and testing prototypes from start to finish. Troubleshoot technical issues through the phases and during the testing, commissioning, and operating phase of the prototypes. Certify project designs meet requirements. Manage technical risks, ensuring time and budget allocations are met. What you'll need to succeed Mechanical Engineering or similar tertiary qualifications. Prior design experience in Manufacturing is highly regarded. Experience using Solid Edge, Inventa or Solid Works. Be hands-on with making parts and machining.
