Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Minimum Qualifications Degree in Mechanical or Civil / Structural Engineering +1 years' post graduate experience Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft software Experience and knowledge of the Australian standards Large Process Plant experience – Unsupervised access (keeping self and others safe) Australian Standards – Ability to find and apply applicable codes RPEQ – Ability to obtain and working towards CPENG and RPEQ qualifications Ability to access client sites – large volumes of stair and ladder access, confined spaces, working at height and wearing respirator (dust and chemicals) Engineering Skills • Ability to work independently under Lead Engineer supervision
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to interact with clients and manage stakeholders – strong communication skills
• Strong report writing skills
• Ability to keep to tight delivery timeframes and be accountable for managing own time and output
Project Management Skills • Working understanding of PMBOK principles and ability to apply across small projects
• Experience with independently managing projects up to $100k
