Due to the continued growth and success of the business, they are seeking a Graduate Lawyer to join the practice based in Bentleigh. This is a full-time role, supporting our Principal Solicitor.About the roleYou will play an integral role within the team in supporting the Principal Solicitor in all matters related to Workcover, TAC, and Public Liability.Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Working within our established team on personal injury matters;Preparing first drafts of correspondence, Court documents, and other legal documents under supervision;Being the first point of contact for clients, third parties, and Barristers;Conducting legal research and preparing internal notes or notes for clients on legal developments;Liaising with other senior lawyers, counsel, and external experts as required;Attending court, dispute resolution, and settlements;Responding to client queries and managing the client relationship with a principal lawyer.About youSuccessful completion of a law degree;Some relevant experience within the field would be highly regarded;Excellent communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills;High level of professionalism and client service orientation;The ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment;Well-developed empathy and listening skills.The offerAt Margalit, we value our employees and offer a supportive and flexible work environment.
