We are currently seeking a Graduate Lawyer to join our Personal Injury department.The ResponsibilitiesAssist senior lawyers with the day-to-day operations of files/client managementBe the first point of contact for clients and answer clients' enquiriesWork with mixed file load across workers' compensation, TAC, public liability and crime compensation mattersPrepare matters for conference and hearing including preparation of court documents, legal documents and general correspondencePrepare briefs and documents such as claim forms, schedules of damages and liaise with CounselCorrespond and liaise with medical practitioners and other expertsCoordinate medico-legal appointments, compulsory conferences and mediationsAdministration tasks as requiredDraft statements and other legal documents as requiredThe SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask, prioritise and work under pressureProactive, self-starter and displays initiativeExcellent organisational and time management skillsExcellent attention to detailAbility to work as part of a hardworking teamAbility to liaise with clients, agents and other organisations.This is an opportunity to discover your full potential where your skills, experience and initiative driven approach will be rewarded and appreciated.We are a growing firm and committed to mentoring, offering ongoing professional development and the career progression of all our lawyers and staff.A competitive salary package and benefits will be offered, commensurate with skills and experience.Please email your resume and cover letter to ******.
