DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated university graduate or penultimate year student to join the Betashares ETF Investment operations team as a Graduate Role - Investment Operations Analyst.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting trade operations and other operational tasks as required (trade execution monitoring, corporate action processing, cash flow management, Scheme applications and redemptions, reconciliation).Support trade operations team with managing and processing ETF Trades, ensuring smooth settlement and accurate data handling – liaising with custodians and third-party administrators.Support trade operations team in identifying areas for improvement in billing systems and reporting processes and contribute to the implementation of improvements.Respond to portfolio managers inquiries as appropriate, providing support and resolving issues related to operational processes.Work with the Assistant Manager to draft and update procedures for new tasks and operational processes, ensuring clarity and consistency. Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseExperience in SQL, Python highly desirable.Experience in managing or supporting project-based work, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.Exceptional ability to identify discrepancies, spot trends, and ensure data accuracy.This is a full-time office-based role located in Sydney CBD.
Candidates must be able to work on-site.A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, commerce, or a related field is preferred.Familiarity with databases (VBA or other systems) to query, manage, and analyse data.Experience with trading software platforms (e.g.
Eze OMS, Trader, Charles River, Aladdin,) is an advantage.Experience in drafting and implementing operational procedures for new processes or tasks.A strong mindset focused on driving continuous improvement in operational systems, processes, and workflows.Able to work both independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Excellent verbal and written communication.Understanding of Australian accounting/tax concepts.Genuine interest in financial markets and investment products is essential.
