The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. The Opportunity:As a Graduate Finance Officer, you will be working within VHBA's central Finance team to support various project and organisational functions, such as the project delivery, technical advisory services and organisational support. You will be an important and relied upon resource for your teams, who will look to utilise your experience and education to benefit outcomes as you support the broad and complex VHBA program and workforce.
Key Responsibilities:Manage transactions using authority's capital management systems and departmental financial systemsMaintain budgets and forecasts in the relevant systemsParticipate in professional development opportunities to enhance financial knowledge and skills, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and VHBA's goals.We are looking for:Ability to work autonomously and self-manage to prioritise work to ensure the obligation of quality and timely services to the businessA working understanding of financial data management, variance analysis, and an ability to ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and frameworksBe a recent graduate, with a major in accounting, finance or equivalent degreeTo learn more about the opportunity and view the full requirements please download a copy of the Position Description.
