Emission Assessments Pty Ltd is seeking a passionate Graduate Chemist or Graduate Environmental Scientist to join our dynamic team in Bibra Lake, Western Australia.
This full-time role offers an 8 days on / 6 days off roster, with the opportunity to contribute to crucial environmental projects and develop your career in the field of environmental science.
The successful candidate will be involved in performing environmental air monitoring programs:
Industry Stack Emission TestingLaboratory and Field Odour surveysWhile starting your career with EAPL you will develop expertise in: environmental sampling, chemical reagent preparation, sample management and technical reporting.
Your ability to develop professional relationships and liaise with clients will be advanced in this role.
Importantly, sharing ideas within a team that listens and respects individual contributions is promoted at EAPL.
The successful candidate will ideally have: Bachelor of Science.Ability to work in a safe, careful and methodical manner at height.An understanding of basic chemistry principles.Ability to interpret and apply technical procedures.Ability to work both autonomously and in a small team.The following skills and experience would also be highly regarded: Prior knowledge in emissions to air monitoring.Confidence in learning new work practices such as isokinetic testing.Competency in Excel and Word.EAPL offers our people: 8 days on / 6 days off panel roster based in Perth.Certified self-paced career planning and associated salary increases.Internationally recognised career certified pathways.Exposure to industries across WA: Iron Ore, Lithium, Alumina, Power Generation and Rare Earths.Ethical, Accredited and Certified independent work practices striving for continuous improvement.Multidisciplinary environmental monitoring work.Opportunities to shine and be recognised.EAPL in Focus You will be supported by a vibrant management team with strong technical excellence in environmental monitoring principles; all of whom have a willingness for technical knowledge transfer.
