The Role Gordon's is looking for a passionate Graduate/Junior Engineer to join their office located in Acacia Ridge QLD. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work as part of a team with career advancement possibilities.
The Successful Applicant will have: Tertiary qualification (minimum B.Eng.) in mechanical, process or chemical engineering5 years industrial refrigeration experience after graduationThe ability to create, read and interpret drawingsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProactive approach and ability to work autonomouslyKeenness to learn and develop through contact with many different areas such as external fabricators and consultants, tradespeople and other professionalsPossess a current valid driver's licence Working alongside experienced Engineers your responsibilities will include the following: Detailed design and layout workAssist with project scoping, tender document preparation, cost estimation, tender evaluation and preparation of recommendation reports and presentations.Ensure completed works are carried out in compliance with relative codes and standardsEnsure quality, safety and environment aspects are followedWorking closely with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget We Offer This is a great opportunity for a graduate engineer to grow and develop, with exposure to many aspects of engineering and manufacturing.
