About this Position: We have an exciting opportunity for an Graduate Engineer to join our Roads department.
The primary function of the Graduate Engineer is to assist in the efficient, safe, and effective delivery of capital works projects and maintenance works associated with transport assets and quarry operations.
This role involves developing skills in applying engineering principles, contributing to the optimisation of project outcomes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting continuous improvement across design, planning, and execution.

Support the preparation, monitoring, and execution of project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes.
Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are met.
Contribute to asset management activities, including inspections, data collection, and evaluating asset performance for future planning.
Develop technical and problem-solving skills by providing input into project designs, risk assessments, and engineering solutions.
Build strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to assist with project updates, reporting, and customer inquiries.
What you will need to be successful: Bachelor of Engineering (Civil – 4-year degree) recognised by Engineers Australia or in near completion of a Bachelor of Engineering i.e.
you will be in your fourth year and successfully graduate within the first 12months of employment.
Eligibility for membership of a professional body (LGEA, IPWEA, IEA).
General Construction Induction Card (White card).
Current Class C Drivers Licence.
Have personal integrity and take responsibility.
Have the ability to prioritise and schedule work and meet deadlines.
Be flexible and agile to work across different business areas.
