Job DescriptionMPK is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our project in the Surat Basin, on a 19:9 or 14:7 roster.
Our Graduate Engineers support technical coordination of varying aspects of the project and work closely with the field operations team.
Key duties include:
Work with the Engineering team to assist in the design of electrical and control systems (electrical).Work with the Engineering team to assist in the design and implementation of componentry (Mechanical).Work with the Engineering team to assist in the design and implementation of civil construction works (civil).Review design documentation and data to ensure design is clear and easily understood by construction crews.Use relevant Australian Standards, Codes of Practice or Client Specifications/Procedures to assist the Engineering team in making technical determinations.Assist in the production of documents required for construction and QA purposes including drawings and schematics.Assist in the management of construction materials.Assist in the planning of workshop and field tests.Assist in the reporting of construction progress and performance.Assist in the provision of Engineering support for operations across the group.Loading, cleaning and preparing HDPE pipes to be welded.Desired Skills and ExperienceSuitable applicants will have graduated from their bachelor degree in engineering within the last 18 months, or are due to graduate in 2024.
Previous work placements are advantageous.
Candidates will need to have solid knowledge of Microsoft programs.
